Thank you to all who have been patiently awaiting the reopening of Renee K Hair Design.  I am now open, as of June 16th, 2020. I am following all of the recommendations that Massachusetts has provided for reopening and for maintaining a space that is as safe as possible for my valued clients.

I HAVE TEMPORARILY DISABLED ONLINE BOOKING

 

I have disabled online booking temporarily to maintain control of my schedule as I navigate the new way of running my business during the Covid-19 pandemic. I apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

 

Below are just some of the ways that I am working to keep my space as Covid-free as possible;

 

• I thoroughly clean and disinfect all hard surfaces, including the mirrors and doors before, in between and after each client.

• I clean and sanitize all other surfaces before, between and after every client

• I run a state of the art air purifier at all times that has been proven to destroy viruses and bacteria, as well as mold, dust  and pollen.

• I wear a mask at all times, as well as gloves, and I change into a freshly laundered apron before and after every client.

• Every client is required to wear a mask.

• All clients are screened with a health questionnaire before arrival and have their temperature taken before entering the room.  If your temperature is above 100.4 degrees, you must reschedule.

• I have invested in CDC approved, clean disinfectants so that my air is free of harmful chemicals.

• I am no longer double booking.  This means it's just you and me in the room at a time.

• I am temporarily not doing blow dries.  I believe this helps by not spreading the virus into the air and HVAC system, but also significantly reduces the amount of time you are in the room with me.  Studies show that the longer you are in an enclosed room with another person, the greater your chances become of contracting the virus.

• I am asking that you come with your hair already washed. This also helps to minimize your time in my room, and also reduces the chances of spray landing on you from talking or breathing over you while I wash you.  I am still doing shampoos for color services. 

• I use a contactless payment system so that you do not have to touch anything during checkout.

• I leave 15 minutes between clients so that I can air out the room and clean.

• I am asking all clients to text when they arrive and wait in their car until I am ready for you to come in. There are no clients lingering or waiting in the hallways.

• I have hand wash and hand sanitizer available for you to use and purchase in the studio.

Please reach out via text, phone or email with any questions or concerns and also to book future appointments.  All previously booked appointments have been cancelled do to the new cleaning and booking regulations.
