My Approach

Yoga Instructor & Health Coach

I have always been intrigued by the ancient healing arts.

 

I was drawn to yoga over 20 years ago because of the mind, body and soul connecting and healing aspects of the practice. Through the ancient philosophical teachings and movements of yoga, I have been able to find my own inner strength and resiliency, which has helped to hold and guide me through all of life's ups and downs. I am always looking to learn more, to grow more as a teacher, as well as a student. Each of my teachers have their own approach to teaching, which I think helps me to have a well-rounded style when it comes to my own teaching. 

 

All of my classes, whether they be a vinyasa flow class, a slow flow class or a restorative class, combine breath work, meditation and movement to help quiet the mind, build strength and flexibility in both mind and body, all while teaching you tools to help you navigate the changing tides of your life, on and off the yoga mat.

 

It is truly my life's passion and joy to share these practices with you.

 

My Approach

Health & Wellness

A lifetime of hormone and digestive health challenges led me to work with an integrative health coach over a decade ago. Working with someone one on one to focus on my own bio individuality and health and wellness goals proved to be life changing for me for the better. I was inspired to share my enthusiasm for whole body wellness with others after seeing the powerful impact this work had on all aspects of my life.

 

I enrolled in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in late 2012 and graduated as a Certified Holistic Health Coach in the fall of 2013. I have taken continuing education through IIN, as well as completing my level 1 herbalist apprenticeship with Brittany Wood Nickerson in 2014.

 

Nothing gives me more joy than to help another being  access their full potential in this life by helping them to identify their health and wellness goals, create an action plan and see them flourish in a manageable and sustainable way.

I offer a six-month program where we meet twice a month through Zoom. In this program, we work to identify your health and wellness goals, then create a manageable and sustainable plan for you to be able to achieve and maintain your goals for a lifetime.
